Love … it's a kind of feeling that most of us can't really control. Sometimes it just happens when you least expected it to happen.
What Is Love?
It is a mystery why we fall in love.It is a mystery how it happens. It is a mystery when it comes.
It is a mystery why some love growsand it is a mystery why some love fails. You can analyze this mystery andlook for reasons and causes, but you will never do anymorethan take the life out of the experience.
Sometimes, hopefully at least once in your life -the gift of love will come to you in full flower, and you will take hold of itand celebrate it in all inexpressible beauty.
This is the dream we all share.More often, it will come and take hold of you, celebrate you for a brief moment, then move on.
When people fall out of love, they want answers where there are no answers. They want to know what is wrongin them that makes the other person nolonger love them, or they try to get their lover to change, thinking that if some small things were different, love would bloom again.
They blame their circumstancesand say that if they go far away and starta new life together, their love will grow. They try anything to give meaning to what has happened.
If you find yourself in love with someonewho does not love you, be gentle with yourself. There is nothing wrong with you.Love just didn't choose to rest inthe other person's heart.
If you find someone else in lovewith you and you don't love him, feel honored that love came and called at your door, but gently refuse the gift you cannot return.Do not take advantage; do not cause pain.
How you deal with love is how you deal with you,and all our hearts feel the same pains and joys, even if our lives and ways are different.
If you fall in love with another, and he falls in love with you,and then love chooses to leave,do not try to reclaim it or to assess blame.Let it go …..
There is a reason and there is a meaning. You will know in time.
Remember that you don't choose love.Love chooses you.
The secret of love is that it is a gift, and that it can be made to grow only by giving it away.
Love always has been and always will be a mystery.
Be glad that it came to live for a moment in your life.
If you keep your heart open, it will come again!

THE LIGHT SIDE OF LIFE
In life, there are so many critics around especially when u don't ask for it. But not even half of them are constructive rather they come from jealous souls of your achievement so far!! I would say so long as u remember who u are and keep on focussing on your goals ... to hell with them!!! Read the story below and u would understand what I mean ... ;))
The Priest, the Donkey, the Nun & the Bishop...
The priest entered his donkey in a race and it won. The priest was so pleased with the donkey that he entered in another race and it won again.
The local paper read: PRIEST'S ASS OUT FRONT.
The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the priest not to enter the donkey in any more races.
The next day the local paper headline read: BISHOP SCRATCHES THE PRIEST'S ASS.
This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the priest to get rid of the donkey.
The priest decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent.
The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline: NUN HAS THE BEST ASS IN TOWN.
The Bishop fainted. He informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey so she sold it to a farmer for $10.
The next day the headlines read: NUN SELLS HER ASS FOR $10.
This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the donkey and lead it to the high plains where it could run free.
The next day the headlines read: NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE.
Alas ... The Bishop was buried the next day.
MORAL OF THE STORY?
Being concerned about public opinion can bring you much grief and misery and even shorten your life. So, be yourself and enjoy life. Stop worrying about everyone else's ass and you'll live longer.

THE 90/10 PRINCIPLE (TIPS TO CONTROL SITUATION)
I received this in my mail box sent by a friend long time ago ... it so happens that in that week I was really stressed up which lead from one thing to another. Do have a read of the article below and stop and think if this article rings true in our lives!!
Author: Stephen Covey
Discover the 90/10 Principle.
It will change your life (at least the way you reactto situations). What is this principle?10% of life is made up of what happens to you.90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean?We really have no control over 10% of what happens tous - We cannot stop the car from breaking down. Theplane will be late arriving, which throws our wholeschedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%.
The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.How? By your reaction! You cannot control a red light. but you can controlyour reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU cancontrol how you react.Let's use an example:You are eating breakfast with your family. Yourdaughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto yourbusiness shirt. You have no control over what just happened.
What happens next will be determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cupover. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A shortverbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and changeyour shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughterhas been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rushto the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mphspeed limit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fineaway, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving atthe office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse.
You lookforward to coming home. When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter. Why?Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad day?A) Did the coffee cause it?B) Did your daughter cause it?C) Did the policeman cause it?D) Did you cause it?The answer is “D".You had no control over what happened with the coffee.
How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused yourbad day. Here is what could have and should have happened.Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about tocry. You gently say, "Its ok honey, you just need tobe more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rushupstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and yourbriefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.Notice the difference? Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different. Why? Because of how you REACTED.
You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction. Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle. If someone says something negative about you, don't be asponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you! React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.
How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel?A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off) Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them?WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?
Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.You are told you lost your job.Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedulefor the day. Why take out our frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on.Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.
Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle. The result? Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. We all misunderstand and apply the 90/10 principle. It CAN change your life!!!
